Session range by weekday

This report looks at the average range in each session — Asia, London, New York, broken out by weekday.

Now lets see some examples of how to use this report in our trading. We will look at the ES futures report:

When trading ES futures, we notice as the week develops, there is a larger range for each session. This means there are more opportunities later in the week and Mondays are the quietest day with the least trade opportunities no matter what session you trade. Why session range by weekday matters:

If a certain sessions show higher range, you may want to focus trading on those because they will have the most amount of opportunity for the day. Days with higher range tend to have cleaner price action that is easier to trade. Small ranges are difficult to make money in because price action tends to be very choppy.
